Seizures and Tanning Beds

Hi, I'm new to the forum life but from what I've read they're not always helpful. I'm hoping I can get some insight..
Im 27, i was diagnosed almost 2 years ago and my last seizure was over 9 months ago. Im well controlled but we dont have a known cause. I do however have a skin condition, that yes one of the treatments is UV light. Now living in Canada it's hard to get that gorgeous sunlight 365! So my question is, has anyone had concerns about utilizing tanning beds with a diagnosis involving seizures?
***to repeat I work in health care I am well aware of cancer and it's causes. Also, as for my skin condition, it wasn't Dr. Google who prescribed it. So please keep your responses limited to my question - use of tanning beds and their relationship to seizures***

I had my first 3 grand mals after using a tanning bed and getting burnt. Don’t know if it was a random coincidence or not.I’ve always loved tanning beds as it really helped me relax and honestly felt like it gave me some energy. I usually go a couple of times before summer so I don’t get burnt on our yearly trip to the lake. I will go again and I guess we will see how that goes lol. Just be careful though as some medicine that they use to treat seizures can cause sun sensitivity.
