Is medical school a good option?


Hi I'm a biology major pre med option with minors in psychology and chemistry and was just diagnosed with epilepsy and I have between 8-10 complex partial seizures a day. My doctor started me on topamax increasing the dose every week. I was just wondering if it seems likely that I'll be able to get these under control and go to medical school or if I should find something else to do..,
Until now I've always wanted to be an ER doctor but my pre med advisor told me this morning I should consider a research career
