Just wondering what these results mean?

Hello! :) I was diagnosed with epilepsy last year, having had a few nocturnal seizures, and had an EEG done which was described as follows: "The reading consists of moderate amplitude, posterior dominant alpha rhythms of 10 Hz with irregular smaller amplitude beta rhythms of 15-20 Hz bifrontally. During hyperventilation, a single spike and wave discharge was seen over the left temporal electrodes. Photic stimulation adds no further information. The recording is abnormal and demonstrates a focal left temporal lobe epileptogenic focus." I recently did another EEG which was shown to be normal. I don't think my new neurologist has the results of the test I did last year, so I'm going to show it to her at my next visit (she's trying to decide whether I have absence seizures and the possibility of occipital lobe seizures). In the meantime, can anyone please explain what these results from last year mean? Thanks!
