Focal epilepsy that moves around

I don’t know how common it is, but I have been told by a nurse practitioner that works in an epilepsy monitoring unit that they can move. What I would say is probably a better explanation is what my Epileptologist told me...he said that I have multifocal epilepsy. My first 3 day VEEG study showed seizures from my right temporal and right parietal lobes with slowing on the right and left sides of my brain twenty years ago. My routine EEGs consistently show bilateral abnormalities. My most recent 7 day VEEG study showed seizures from my left temporal and left parietal lobes with slowing only on the left side of my brain. I don’t know if you are seeing an Epileptologist, but even those vary in their quality too. Perhaps you could ask the doctor if they think you may have multifocal epilepsy?

Thank you for your answer! I needed that.No, my neurologist said that she believes it's a manifestation of generalized epilepsy. I guess I should try to get a second opinion elsewhere.
