Deja Vu about the same thing?

Fri, 12/08/2017 - 11:47
Does anyone ever have deja vu about the same thing over and over? I had an episode in October of 2017, in which I got sick from the deja vu. I had to pull my car over to puke and felt like my brain was going to explode. Once I calmed down I managed to remember the memory was about a game. Today(December 8 2017) I had another episode exactly the same. All I remember is it's about a game and the more I try to focus on it, the more it hurts. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes. I started having seizures at age 10 in 1967 about one month after being hit in the back of my head with a hammer. The deja vu I have is at the end of each seizure. I thought that I was going crazy and having visions. I wrote a book about them at age 57. I called the book Funny Feelings because I had no idea that my seizures was causing feelings of deja vu. Now at the age of 61 and many seizures later, I now understand. It sometimes still scares me, but a lot less than it did when I was a child. I lived with the seizures and deja vu for 50 years before I found a doctor who would listen to me, and then filled me in on the side effects. I feel your pain more that you will ever understand.
