too much time on my hands

Sun, 02/12/2006 - 00:58
Hi everyone, It's me Joyce, I have way too much time on my hands lately. I can't seem to sleep worth a toot and have been this way for years, but boy when I do decide to sleep, see ya next week. Keeping a routine so I can feel somewhat normal has not worked as of yet and I find myself pacing more and more each day. I am in long distance schooling for my Associates Degree and somewhat behind in my studies but after a while I get burned out from doing nothing but studying all day, every day. I did make one promise to myself and that is this: No matter how hard it is, I will finish something I start, especially when it is important too me. I have found some very interesting sites about colors and what they do for you healing wise and spiritualy too. For example, Did you know that the color Lavendar helps fight against seizure activity? Yes, its true and you can learn why you act the way do when you do. Finding sites such as these certianly take the edge off a somewhat dull lonely day. Faith see's the invisible, Believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible. Joyce

Joyce - I enjoyed your posting, especially about colors being very healing. I always liked lavendar and now I know why! As far as sleeping is concerned, I have the same issues. Not a good sleeper at all but my doctor perscribed sleeping medication for me and it really helps. Have you looked in to that as a possibility? Bette100

Hi Joyce. I'm having the same problem with lack of sleep. What meds do you take? This has only started since my meds have been changed, went from one extreme to the next. Funny I recently painted my bedroom a beautiful pale lilac-blue color, it's so calming.Smiles!

Hi Joyce! What a beautiful saying! I love it! Another victim of the sleep blob, huh? Join the crowd and welcome! I don't decide to sleep...it decides to let me wake up or at least that's how I feel alot. Here's a link on sleep in case you want to give it a look-over. http://www.epilepsy.com/articles/ar_1063155671.html I love the color lavender. It's one of the colors I think is a peaceful color...soothing. Smiles! -Spiz
