Sunset In Orlando...

Tue, 07/11/2006 - 19:52
Well, one thing is for sure, after a dreary, depressing, rainy wet day, this sunset was beautiful to see. Please try to imagine a much deeper color, too, though. In the 60-90 seconds it took to grab my camera, and turn off the flash, the color faded quite a bit. My parents live on the SouthWest coast of Forida, along a white sand beach, and people visit just to see the sun go down right over the Gulf of Mexico... Time to call my dad, the ever so avid photographer, and see if he has any photos he can send. If not I guess it's a great excuse to spend some time relaxing at the beach before they move (their house is for sale). Susan

I know what you mean about the colour, we tend to get almost blood red sunsets some nights that are really hard to capture because even when you get the timing right the pic never seems to capture it the way you saw or remember it, I think experiences like that are more than just a visual one. What is the US version of 'red sky at night shepherds delight!!'
