Hi, My name is Leah. I am 14. I have excrutiating migranes. They stop me from going to school and from playing volleyball and soccer. I actually have to go into the hospital tomorrow for tests and observations. My doctor says the migranes are caused by having small seizures in the brain. I get them really bad at night but i also get them in the morning. Leah~*~

I was diagnosed with Epilepsy at age 24. I was told that it was inherited. My great grandmother had Epilepsy. I already knew I had headaches but up to that point had not been diagnosed with Migraines. Not long after my Epilepsy diagnosis, they diagnosed me with Migraines.

I haven't had seizures to amount to anything, (one at home about 5 months ago) in a few years. The Migraines on the other had are a continuous problem. I went to my Neurologist after I had the one seizure at home and he tried to tell me that I did not have a seizure at all. He didn't even think I had Epilepsy. OK..... then why have four other Neurologist told me that I do. I had the EEG's to prove it. This is why I was diagnosed to begin with.  I am going to go to a new doctor. I wasn't scheduled for an appointment for a while so I am looking carefully for a new doctor, who will take my condition seriously.
