I've had similar "have you evers". I walked into a wall a couple times and apologized to it as well as said excuse me to it. And i have stepped outside and couldn't remember where I was and if I was going in or out of the place. I've also talked on the phone then forgot who i was talking to and what about.

LOL! I, too, apologize to inanimate objects after running into them. I also have been known to catch myself waiting for a stop sign to turn green (don't worry, I'm not driving anymore).

I have caught myself apologizing to doors, tables, and chairs when I walk into them. ;-) I've picked up the receiver of the telephone and not remembered who I was going to call. Or called and not remembered why I was calling. I've started talking and forgotten what I was saying. My husband has to be very careful about trying to load me up with too much information at once, because once he gets through everything, I've usually forgotten what he said at the beginning. :P
