Baby Sarah is HOME !!

Well, Baby Sarah came home this past Saturday, after almost 3 weeks in the neo-natal intensive care. She is doing so well, and eating like a little piglet. We are all so very enamored of her - it didn't take long for her to wrap all of us around her little itty bitty finger.
Jessica is doing great, and enjoying having her home so much. She had a seizure last nite, but recovered well. I think just adjusting to new schedules and a lack of sleep caused it last nite. She takes the day shift with the baby, and grandma (me), takes the night shift. I could sit and hold Sarah all nite, but I learned my lesson a long time ago about doing that !!
I have done okay on my seizures. Got my VNS turned up last week, and my Keppra dose increased. I've had some complex partials and several simple partials, but I'm trying to get my sleep too. My last EEG showed constant seizure type activity from both right and left temporal lobe. We're hoping that adding a new med in May, along with continuing to adjust the VNS will get it under control.
I've added a couple of new pictures of Princess Sarah. Thanks again to everyone for their kind and thoughtful wishes. Jessie and I appreciate you all so much. She absolutely loves hearing from you all.

I'm coming to your house, I want to hold that baby, just don't lock me in the closet LOL. She just gets more and more beautiful each time I see her. She looks so healthy and her color looks wonderful!! I hate to hear about Jessie's recent seizure and I pray the good Lord will keep her close. Well, that is my prayer for you also Barbie, and for little Sarah. Please take care and keep the pictures coming.

She is so adorable! I'm keeping you and Jessica in my prayers. I well remember that there isn't any sleeping with a preemie...only catnaps. So with this in mind and knowing you need to get some sleep, I'll let you out of the closet long enough to pack her little didees for me to bring her home with me...will send you pics of course! Chuckles!!!

WELL I NEVER GOT THE CHANCE TO SPEAK WITH YOU. I JUST JOIN ABOUT A MONTH AGO BUT I READ ABOUT YOUR GRANDBABY. CONGRATS AND I WILL KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN MY PRAYERS.
