Sun, 11/18/2007 - 19:06
Does anyone know what the cost of neuofeedback sessions tend to be? I'm interested in trying it but I work an entry-level temp job, and I'm very concerened about cost.

Generally, you will need to

Generally, you will need to have a QEEG done at the start. It is a complete mapping that helps determine the protocol that would be most beneficial (and provides a baseline for the sessions). The QEEG is going to be a bit more costly than the regular sessions. It seems that lately, more and more insurance companies are starting to cover neurofeedback. You would need to check with your insurance company to see if they cover it in whole or in part. I think regular sessions run anywhere from $75 to $200 depending upon your location/practitioner. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Check out my chart of alternative epilepsy treatments.
