Andrews/Reiter Institute

Sun, 03/29/2009 - 16:16
I stumbled across this website for the Andrews/Reiter Institute in California, where they claim an amazing success rate for stopping seizures without drugs. It almost sounds to good to be true, and I can't find anyone who has any experience with them. It seems like with a success rate that high they would be front page news in the world of Epilepsy, but none of the Dr.s , nurses, or other people in our support group has ever heard of them. If anyone reading this has any experience with them, please respond. There are alot of us out here that are extremely interested. Thanks for your help.

I have done their program for a year and it saved my life, I would highly recommend it to you. Donna, who does the  program, is a wiz in finding out what you need. She is an epileptic herself (but free for decades now) and she is just amazing, cant praise her enough. I had 3 seizures a day at times, now only two a year, and hoping to get off meds next year. I have a very low dose of meds. So yes, if you have the money for it, go for it!

Hello, I am currently reading a book that is co authored by andrews/reiter. I have only read several chapters but it does sound like a great alternative way to deal with seizures. My daughter has not been diagnosed with epilepsy but has been told that she has a low threshold for seizure. Would this program work for non-epileptic seizures? Your comment above is, if you have the money go for it. Can you give me an idea of cost? From what I have read it would help someone having seizure some control over them. Thank you for any response you may be able to give me. Priscilla

 Dear Priscilla,

If I were you I would call Donna Andrews. She is great to talk to and she will tell you what she can do or not. Each person is different. Donna is very honest and knows all about seizures (also from her own experience). I consider her a true miracle worker and I have great respect for her. Did you ever see the movie "The Miracle Worker"? If not, please watch it or read about it, you will understand what I mean. Donna was to me what Anne Sullivan was to Helen Keller.

Priceless. Really!
