I was over some friends house about 4 years ago and when we got off work, we would smoke some Mary jane. It was the harmless at first (so I thought). These friends liked to add some extra things in their pipe and clean it out before I got there). One Saturday night, we came in and their Mom packed the big pipe as usual and she hit first, as usual, she coughed, she passed to daughter, she done the same, passed it to me, I only hit what was left but closer to the bottom of the pipe. I hit that pipe with what I had in my lungs and blew it out! About not even 2 minutes later, that Gran mal seizure aura came over me and they screaming noise. The next thing I remember was that my boyfriend came in their house and picked me up and I was still light headed and took me home. After my mind was 100% stable and back to normal, I asked them what else was in that pipe, that told 10 mg, Ecstasy!! So, just be careful with street drugs with this type of disorder!!

I’ve been having auras as far back as I can remember, to me just thought is was deja vu. wasn’t diagnosed with epilepsy until I was 22,I’m 30 now, after my 1st gran mal szr. Between me bein 18-20 I’ve done X on multiple occasions. It’s understandable Ur 16 wanna Experiment an be involved when ur friends doin it. I was 18 when I 1st tried it so I can understand this bein a lil hypocritical but I also didn’t know I had epilepsy.or was on meds. Ur 16 ur brain is still developing so regardless of epilepsy or not I’d say thts a lil young. Imagine u take meds so X might conflict with ur meds, ur not exactly sure what’s in the X, could be meth or something else nasty  in it or how much MDMA is in it. If u just stare durin ur szr tht can be what u doin thizzin, also will get tht  thiz face so u might look like u having a szr. U do what u want my friend but if u gonna do it start with half, make sure ur gonna be in a safe environment  Imagine ur friends know u have epilepsy so just remind em what u do while u havin em. With any drug especially at 16, be safe an careful. I would suggest havin a bunch of water with u if u do take it, tht X makes u thirsty. Just remember there’s possible consequences of any drug regardless of having szrs or not an just be smart about takin any drug an how much 

Hi I’ve been having seizures for about 5 years now.... and idk anything thing about what your wanting to do but I do know that when you drink and do drugs it can affect any meds your on if your on any so be careful and even though you only have the staring spells they can still get dangerous I have 2 Types of seizures and those are one of them and i walk during mine sometimes. I’m not going to tell you to do it or not to but If you do make sure in a safe place

hey beth, im 23 and did my share of drugs including ecstacy, lsd, dmt, cocaine, blah blah blah. it was a phase, i would like to say that never while doing those drugs did i have a seizure, however there was times when i was just watching everyone getting as high as they can and i ended up the one in the hospital bed.  You just have to be confident and be comfortable, everything happens for a reason
