can epilepsy come back again after 10 years?

Mon, 02/25/2019 - 08:50
hi all, i would like to share my story with you maybe I'll find some matches to mine. i was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 8 years old and started medication until the age of 18. now I'm 28 years old and for several months i have been feeling some symptoms like the following: temporarily confusion for like 10 seconds where i don't understand what it's going on it's like a dizziness(not vertigo) with the feeling of what is going on? sudden quick failure of my knees while walking brain zaps from time to time that last for less than a minute i wake up in the morning and i find myself sleeping on the couch in the living room knowing that i slept in my bed, so I'm changing locations without even feeling it last and most annoying thing: today i woke up with tongue pain i noticed that while sleeping i bit it very badly it's all red and purple but i didn't even feel it . tomorrow I'm going to see my specialist because i think it's coming back he did not give much importance to all the above except the tongue bite he told me it's urgent to see you i think it's related to epilepsy attack or seizure. any opinions?

Epilepsy isn't something that

Epilepsy isn't something that's curable.  You might stop having seizures but you will always have epilepsy.

I hope you saw a neurologist

I hope you saw a neurologist and got yourself checked out. I often had the bite marks and knew I was having seizures at night.
