Hii everyone, I belong to to India. This story belongs about my own son who has been suffering from epilepsy for about at the age of 2.5 years. When he was just the age of about 2.5years he has suffered from fever. We go to doctor and he gave medicines but at the same time his whole body started to jerk we all get tremble to see that. Again we go to a new doctor, where he gave medicine to control . He was started to comeback after his disease but after 1 year his body started to jerk again and when we complaint the doctor about his health, he said to go for another doctor and this cycle stared from doctor to doctor but no one can cure him for more than 6 months. Now we have sifted from allopathic medicine to homeopathy about last 3 years but also there is no any good changes had come. The doctors are worried to listen this and change medicine one after one but my never could fight back again. At the age of 9 his voice get low and low when we told the doctor, the doctor got angry and put us out of his hospital. As the time passed his voice get down with the time , and now he had stopped saying a word, he could not speak a word. Please help me I'm in great worry and now no any other way is looking to me.

Hi,Thank you for posting, it sounds like you all have been through a lot. It’s important that you’re continuing to express your concerns with son’s healthcare team (that you’re comfortable with), who can help determine what individual treatment plan is best for him. If you feel you cannot talk openly with his doctors or that you all aren't working towards the same goals, it may be time to get a second opinion. https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/diagnosis/you-and-your-healthcare-team/second-opinions . If you have not already you may want to consider having your son see an epileptologist (epilepsy specialist),who can provide more specialized care for his epilepsy.  For help finding a specialist near you and for additional resources in your country please visit:  https://www.ilae.org/regions-and-countries/national-chapters/chapter-spotlights/india . Additionally, you may want to consider keeping a journal or a diary to help keep track of his seizures, medications, and other therapies by using a diary or a journal. My Seizure Diary, can be used to organize his health issues, record medication side effects, develop seizure response plans, and more, which can be share with his healthcare team: https://www.epilepsy.com/living-epilepsy/epilepsy-foundation-my-seizure-diary . It’s common for those who are in caregiver role to feel overwhelmed. Did you consider looking at functional or integrative medicine in combination with homeopathy? Perhaps he needs diet changes with supplements with reiki healing. Could his throat chakra be affected? Im just thinking loud based on my journey with my daughter since a year. My prayers for you and your son
