Long term disability insurance for parents
Tue, 09/10/2019 - 15:17Topic: Insurance Issues
Is there a way for me to take out long term care insurance on my parents without their consent? They would be pissed if I even asked them about taking out the insurance. They take zero care of themselves and I know it's just a matter of time before my diabetic 300+ lb. father needs to be taken care of. I am both unable and unwilling to burden my family with taking care of him daily because he is an extremely difficult person to deal with.
On a side note, at what age should I consider getting this type of insurance on them? Right now they are between 50-60 years old.
