Best places to treat infantile spams/pediatric epilepsy in US

Fri, 05/11/2018 - 07:10
HI, My husband and I are planning to settle in the US with our 1 1/2 year old son who has infantile spasms. We have previously had him treated at the NYU epilepsy center but are not sure about settling in NY for various reasons. We are exploring our options right now. My husband hopes to find work in the software developing field, and I am a grad student finishing up my dissertation so not working atm. Which state/city would you recommend based on better care, therapy, pediatric epilepsy hospitals, better weather (not extreme), and relatively less expensive living. I know I'm asking a ton of things, all suggestions and reasonings welcome. (want to mention that NYU epilepsy center was a very good experience, we were seeing Dr. Judith Bluvstein there, never gave us a reason to complain)

The thing I would do if I

The thing I would do if I were for who I needed to see. Would depend on where I ended up going. Yes many Universities have great facilities. But I want to know here I will b before looking for a specialist. Besides find out where and then have a discussion with Dr. Judith Bluvstein  and have her refer you to one in the area you are going to. If you like the things Dr. Judith Bluvstein  has done then she knows doctors in other areas of the country along with the hospitals they are associated with...I hope this helpsJOe
