4 month old son - not sure if he is having absences

Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on this, as I have no idea if I am being too worried, or if I have good reason to be... About 2 weeks ago my mother mentioned to me that my son looks like he is having little absences. She told me that she noticed about 2 or 3 weeks prior, but due to not being sure, she said nothing. Obviously we are still in lockdown, so seeing family have been done via a window or facetime. However, she mentioned to my auntie that she was worried about him (didn't say why) but my auntie then came out with 'he is having absences isn't he'. My aunt is a retired midwife and prior to this was a nurse and carer to children with various challenges, including epilepsy. Fast forward to the here and now, and I am waiting for a referral letter to come through having spoken to his health visitor and GP. I wanted to see if what we are noticing with him sounds like it could be the mini absences, or whatever they are officially called when they are 4 months old. He seemingly day dreams quite a lot, but a few times a day he appears to 'go blank'. It is almost like his eyes glaze over. Sometimes he seems to be looking down and sometimes his eyes are a bit wider than normal, however, normally he is just facing forward. Right before he has an episode, he tends to be moving a lot and then just stop. His hands can sometimes fidget, but other than that I cannot get him to react to me by blowing on his face, touching him, waving in front of his face or clapping. This morning I touched his eye lash 5 times really quickly and I had no reaction. All of a sudden he started fidgeting again. I have also noticed he 'chews' his lips and also sneezes a lot. I got no idea if these are even linked, as I don't want to google things. Can any of you give me any guidance on this please? I appreciate it may be hard to tell, but does any of this sound familiar?
