Tegretol and liver disease

I’ve been on tegretol for 20+ years and now doc thinks I have liver disease from that meds. I have been seizure free with that meds. My neurologist says I have I have to be on that meds for life. But my liver doc says I need to be off it. What do I do

Then you need to let your doctors discuss this issue. Which is why all of my doctors know all the medications I tke. They have discussed med changes because I started having issues with my blood pressure. Once they talked about them I also needed a cardiologist since my problem was A-fib with intermittent A-flutter
