Does anyone use CBD, if so, how much, and what brand?
Sun, 05/24/2020 - 01:49I apologize if this is in the wrong place, but I'm looking for some good quality affordable CBD for my husband with Epilepsy. He has been on Keppra for a few months and it hasn't been helping with his complex partials entirely (they definitely aren't AS bad as they once were, but they are still there)
he has them once very 20-30 days and has about 7 of them total over the course of 2-5 days. well he started having them this week and I ran out asap to grab some CBD in hopes that it would help. the day that we finally figured out the dosing, he didn't have any seizures as all, but the next day he had 1 about 8 hours after taking a dose, then 2 aura's instead of seizures! It seems to be working but I think his dose needs to be higher, as the dose is 12.5 mg twice a day and cost roughly 85 dollars. i think his dose should be AT LEAST 18 or 20 mg twice a day.... or perhaps just more doses throughout the day? I read that the doses last 8 hours, but we really need them to last 12 hours, so i'm not sure if 8 hours is true or not, or if it's possible to take more doses.
So far it seems to be helping, but i'm unsure if he needs a higher dose or a different brand. the bottle is supposed to last 30 days.
any insight, help, links, or letting me know what CBD you use would be greatly appreciated!
