Biography

 

Mary Nasuta MS, BSN, RN, NCSN
Supervisor of Health Services, Harford County Public Schools
Nationally Certified School Nurse

Mary Nasuta is the Supervisor of Health Services in Harford County Public Schools and is a Nationally Certified School Nurse. In her current role, she works and collaborates with approximately 38,000 wonderful students and families and 75 professional nurses, all striving to improve student academic success. Ms. Nasuta has been a registered nurse for 35 years and has 25 years of experience in school nursing. She has a special interest in helpings students with chronic health care conditions thrive in school. Ms. Nasuta is the former President of the Maryland Association of School Nurses and has been elected as the Maryland State Director for the National Association of School Nurses. She recently participated as faculty on the Epilepsy Foundation’s “Managing Students with Seizures ECHO: The Importance of School Nurses” and has been a participant in the Consensus Conference on Best Practices for the Use of Rescue Therapies.
