The Epilepsy Foundation’s National Youth Council exists to create and advise programs, services, and networks that connect all youth, and to encourage young people living with epilepsy to empower themselves.
Studio E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program
Why Art Therapy?
Art is a natural way to communicate, relieve tension and express emotions. There are some things that many kids (and even adults!) cannot find the words to describe and art makes that easier. At the same time, young people are generally less guarded through art and may be able to communicate ideas more clearly. Studio E provides an opportunity to express emotions through fun and engaging activities. It builds a sense of community and connection.
