We have a 10 year old daughter with epilepsy. She has petite mal seizures that cause her to often "blank out" and forget where she is, much less watch where she is going.

maBenzi Osteopaenia a side effect?

I am on a med called Epanutin (Phenytoin Sodium) that has controlled my TC seizures for > 30 years. Can the osteopaenia I have developed be a side effect? From South Africa and don't know the AED equivalent name elsewhere.

I have absence and grand mal seizures which have been well controlled with Keppra for the past 2 years until this past April. I switched to genric Keppra and had 3 absence seizures and quickly switched back to brand Keppra.
