My soon to be seven year old son was just diagnosed with BRE. He's had two seizures. The diagnosis was confirmed after his sleep deprived EEG, although the Neurologist didn't elaborate much- he just went over our medicine choices.

I'm within months of  Medicare.   I would first like to find Medicare plands which cover my AED's then funnel down from there.My AEDs are Keppra (levetiracetam) and Trileptal (oxcarbazepine)   Lynne

I was walking by workers on the road, one was drilling through the cement and I felt very light-headed and dizzy immediately. Is it possible to have a seizure from vibration?? Thanks!

My daughter Bonnie has been diagnosed with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS). The syndrome includes seizures. The problem is I'm completely out of her medicine (Keppra) and I can not afford any more. What should I do? Is there anyone or any way to help my Bonnie?

Does anyone have a seizure like mine it is awful I can't laugh or else I will not be able to stop it is uncontrolable and worse it can increase and start into a hyenia type laugh this is not funny and no joke!!!  Then like a switch I have uncontrolable crying...

My 18 year old daughter started Sabril (Vigabatrin) a week ago.  Started on 500mg 2x/day.  When we changed to 1000mg 2x/day (7th day) - she can no longer focus or "wake up" in the morning.  She used to sleep 9 hours/day.  Now she's sleeping...

My son was diagnosed with BRE at the age of 7 he has been siezure free for just over 12 months. I can,t seem to find out if this means that it is over for him now. can anyone help.

I am 30 years old now, but when i was 12 i had brain surgery. I am now attending college - specifically film school. Unfortunately I am having a hard time paying my tuition even with standard financial aid. I am curious to know if there is scholarships available...

I have had seizures for 24 years now.  I have had temporal lobectomy in 1991 and in 2005 had a vagus nerve stimulator.  I've been taking the new vimpat for about a year.  The other medication I'm on is Trileptal and Lyrica and I still have them.
