LGIT Recipes (Low Glycemic Index Treatment Recipes)

Mon, 07/30/2012 - 02:21

I'm surprised by the lack of recipes I can find for LGIT (Low Glycemic Index Treatment) for epilepsy.  I can find low GI recipe books and low carb recipes books, but neither of these have exactly what I want.  Basically what I'd like is a book (or website) of LGIT recipes tailored for epilepsy.  By that I mean the recipes have both a low GI value and low carb count.

The problems I've found with low GI recipe books:

  • They're designed to help you lose weight (which I'm not interested in)
  • While the recipes may have a low GI value, they're not necessarily low carb.

With the low carb recipe books the recipes aren't necessarily low GI.

Can anyone recommend a book or website with recipes that are both low GI and low carb?
