Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYIm 25 and have so much heartache and more disappointment . I was seizure free for a period of a year and a half and everything was going really well in my life. Around this time and absolutely thrilled.... couple years ago I finally got my license back. I didn't consider the fact that starting to become a regular driver again after years left my driving abilities worse than a 15 year olds. Long story short i caused a serious car accident, hurt someone very badly, and got in a LOT of legal trouble. They said i was just driving irresponsibly, when i really just didn't know how to drive ,it was late at night on a dead curb with no streetlights. I started having seizures again after the accident, even more frequently than the past. There have been a couple of times when i came close to being 6 months seizure free but fate stepped in decided against it, and i dont want to drive anymore anyways. A few weeks ago i made the decision im not going to try to drive again and im not going to get frustrated or fret over getting my license back. . I dont want to be here anymore either. I live in the midwest, michigan to be exact. There are little opportunities here to healthy people; let alone epileptics who cant drive with legal problems. I think its time to move on and move somewhere with more opportunities and most importantly mass transit. In the midwest, its hard to be independent without the ability to drive. Well its hard anywhere. buses, taxis, subways are scarce in these parts. Im ready to move on with my life and become independent. I was wondering if anyone knew of any help, programs, services, anything at all that can help an epileptic move somewhere with mass transit.
