I am 16 years old and I have not had any of these symptoms until being put on the birth control pill, no migraines, none of these weird things at all.

 Its been going on for a year id say, I told my dr about it once he didnt seem concerned but I do, mostly because I have anxiety and react to the silliest things.

I am new to this site, but wanted to see if I could get any help, research or information relating to special educational needs related to epilepsy and/or medication.

 I am currently going through the statementing process with the LA for my 9 year old daughter who was diagnosed with childhood absence epilepsy when she was 5.  After a fairly long process (since May last year) the LA agreed to assess for a statement on 10 January.

Anyone have experience with nonconvulsive status epilepticus?

I recently had an ambulatory EEG. The doctor told me that my seizures were Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (stress-induced). I asked for a copy of the report because I did not feel that it was an accurate diagnosis. Anyways, here is what the report says:

"Midway through the recording, artifact was noted at P3. This was followed within a few minutes by generalized throughout the entire recording, which lasted for the next four hours. The recording improved, but there was still significant artifact at P3 and at O2."

Our 4 year old had his first tonic-clonic seizure in November. From my standpoint the world stopped, it was horrible. I know that's a little dramatic but I was totally unprepared. I recognized that it was a seizure right away, I just didn't expect him not to breathe during this. I was so scared and felt totally helpless...even as I was screaming at the 911 operator. We did get answers rather quickly with the EEG results a few days later, showing "epileptic activity" and the referral to a pediatric neurologist out of state (we live in a rather rural area).
