Epilepsy & PMT

I was recently diagnosed PMT, but i also suffer from Epilepsy. I went to my doctor recently & he perscribed me a drug for my PMT called, Citolopram, which i was told could weaken my epeleptic drug called Lamotrigine. I am a bit weary about taking this new drug for my PMT as i dont want to have siezures, and i dont want it to weaken my epeleptic drug. Has anyone else been giving the same advice recently? and if so has it changed the strength of the lamotrigine?
