Several times now I will be in different places and swear I smell something like a dead animal. I know this sounds awful and it smells awful. I am wondering now if this could be an aura from a simple partial seizure. I have never had this type before. Do these show up on an EEG?

Hi Jonah,
Yes, an Aura can present itself with sounds, smells, and physical feelings. I have had one before all of my Seizures and I have had some that never resulted in one. My medication is supposed to prevent both Auras and Seizures but it apparently dosen't work. My Doctor thinks it is anxiety related but it feels Seizure related. Let me know if you learn anything else.
