please read; natural supplements causing abnormal/unusual EEG results

My doctor thought I should try L-taurine for my bipolar condition.  I read up on it and it said L-taurine can cause unusual EEG results.

I am wondering if anyone has used this supplement before and what it did to their EEG test.

I would also like to know if anyone has used another kind of supplement that has effected their EEG results and what specific changes showed up, for example, more slow waves or spikes.

Thanks in advance.
