I’m needing some advise about some possible side effects I’m having with the medication Clobazam.  I’ve been taking 10mg once a day in the morning for 6 days and in 7 days time I move up to 10mg twice daily.  My concern is that my general mood and behaviour has been swinging rapidly from being incredibly happy and content with life to feeling very down (and unnecessarily aggressive). 

I’m hoping that someone can enlighten me with the good news that this is in fact a temporary phase that most people experience.

I’ve only had epilepsy for three years - from a suspected brain injury while playing rugby (although I think it’s still a marvellous game) - and most medications appear to not work for me. 

Although, to end on a positive note, Clobazam appears to have settled my seizures.

So, basically what I’m asking is – those of you who may have experienced similar side effects please speak up and re-assure me before I think I’m going banana’s.
