I just experienced my 2nd Grand Mal Seizure/Tonic Clonic 2 days ago at age 22 and it sure does hurt.(Body is Sore, Touge has been biten and is in a lot of pain) Not to mention it occured during one of my good friend's birthday parties and he had to leave the party to spend time with me in the hospital.
I'm searching for the best Epilepsy Doctor/Center in Southern California.
Anyone with any experiences feel free to input them.

Well that does exist in a kind of rag-tag way. There's the forum members from EFA who created a Comprehensive List of GOOD Neurologists...Epileptologists...Neurosurgeons...and Pediatric doctors, based upon members' positive personal experiences. And there's the U.S. News & World Report's annual survey of Best Neurology and Neurosurgery Hospitals in the U.S. (a sub site from their 100 Greatest Hospitals issue.)
You can find both on my website. Some of the docs do work out of hospitals and some are in private practice.

I recomend you to avoid HMOs, always get a second opinion, but my worst nighmare is Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, the neurology department on Sunset Blvd, is probably the worst.
