TAKE CONTROL TODAYI am 34. I have been having sz since age of five. I have been on meds after meds for so many years. No doc seem to know what to do. I was put on Lamictal with this med and that med but nothing seem to help. Finally Keppra seem to have helped but once again my body did not think so. About 4 yrs ago I was diagnose with intractable sz. I was having 3 to 6 complex partial sz a month. The complex partial sz are definitely the ones that hit me the hardest. I am on Lamictal (350mg 2x a day) and Keppra (1500mg 2x a day) and I got VNS almost 2 yrs ago. There have been a change in the number of complex partial sz I have a month. It is now no more than 3, but now the time of my complex partial sz vary(day and night). And I am having more simple partial sz in the morning. OOh and my hormones don't make things easy either. It is annoying. I am considering to starte taking VIMPAT. Is it possible that it would help decrease the number sz I am having now?
