Dr. Svoboda's Feature Articles on Childhood Epilepsy

Dr. Svoboda has many excellent articles about the challenges of epilepsy on this very website in the
Resources Section.  One example is:

http://www.epilepsy.com/articles/ar_1064603177

My request for info/opinions about if his book(s) ranges into adulthood language problems from
childhood/lifetime epilepsy problems has been derailed by my inability to ignore and/or
get through the Mentor's screens and their diehard supporters in the My.epilepsy.com Community.
I promise I will try harder to just ignore the Mentors in the future as much as possible on non-mentor subjects.

I would still like opinions and information about books.

Thank You,

Hello 3hours.

For some reason unknown to me every time I click on that link it logs me out of the site. We have alot of users here who are parents of children with epilepsy and so I believe this topic would be of great interest to them. Would you mind taking the time to repost, preferably in the "parent group" forum category?

Also myself and another mentor host a parent talk chat Thursdays at 9 pm est, perhaps you may have something to contribute that may be helpful to them.

On the mentor issue...I appreciate your admittence that your "epilepsy problems has been derailed by my inability to ignore and/or get through the Mentor's screens" and that you will try to ignore them. A piece of advice I use frequently "agree to disagree" or simply ignore. Thank you for that.

Smiles to you, Colina

Hi Colina2,

I'm sorry, but a majority of opined members here at my.epilepsy.com regard Dr. Svoboda as a "Cult Buster,"
and that that makes me a clown to be laughed at for my respect of Dr. Svoboda's distinguished
opinions.

Being associated in anyway with a "Cult Buster" at my.epilepsy.com, even if only by citation, will
lead to vituperative attack on the person making such a positive citation, much as if my.epilepsy.com
were practicing rules and policy similar to a cult.

Mentioning such a problem with Mentors/webmasters furthers the problem instead of relieving it, much as
Dr. Svoboda observed, with what he regards as cults, in references I have read.

With my web connection, when I'm signed in at this website, the link goes to the wrong place for
some reason. Being signed-out, or typing the web address directly into the web browser, the link
goes to the correct location of the main branch of epilepsy.com.

Good Luck and Be Careful!!!
