Women and epilepsy
Hello everyone I created this because I wanted to discuss the different aspects of epilepsy with other women that experience it. This is not only to just to talk about seizues,but to also just have fun and catch up. To ask questions and get a second opinion too. When it comes to me I have catamenial epelipsey and Iam having trouble with trying to find the right medication. So hopfully you enjoy writing on here and keeking in touch.

I am 28 years old and i have a question for all those ladies out here who have successfully had babies while on AEDs. If you take AEDs while pregnant, does your baby run the risk of inheriting epilepsy?

About the Group:
Women can deal with epilepsy in a different aspect than men. When it comes to the start of puberty to when menopase occurs. There are a numerous amount of effects that women can have due to hormones and becaus of childbearing. Due to this I wanted to start a group to talk and get to know other people with the same seizure and if when it comes to certian subjects you can get a second opinion. Overall one will be able to converse and find out information that can help medically and socially.
