Sponsor the National Epilepsy Walk

Hi everyone!

This weekend I am going to Washington DC to participate in the National Epilepsy Walk as part of the American Epilepsy Society's team. We hope to raise lots of money for epilepsy!

Interested in joining? If you are in the area, you can still join the walk in person. Or you can be a virtual walker, or you can sponsor someone or a team.

Please consider sponsoring me and the AES Society. My son Tom will be accompanying me to the walk so should be a great time....

Here's a link to my page - visit here if you're interested in sponsoring us!http://www.walkforepilepsy.org/site/TR/Walk/General?px=1195542&pg=personal&fr_id=1040

Thanks in advance!

Take care, Epi_help

ps- my name on the AES team is Patricia Shafer. Steven Schachter, Editor in chief of epilepsy.com is participating also on the AES team!!

If you have trouble with this link- go to http://www.walkforepilepsy.org/ and look up Patricia Shafer or the AES team!

What happened to Team Hapa's participation at the 2008 National Walk for Epilepsy?  Last year, ETP's participation in this fundraising effort was very successful and helped raise awareness about epilepsy.

This year, only Dianna Pinkerton has registered to participate for Team Hapa.  In her blog, Joyce Cramer, President of ETP, is pleading for donations.  Then, ETP is not participating in the National Walk for Epilepsy.  You and Steven Schacter are walking for the AES (American Epilepsy Society).

Any insights into what is going with ETP and the National Walk for Epilepsy would be appreciated. Why is ETP not participating this year?
