Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYDarren had another bad seizure this morning and that makes 5 so far this month. My sisters' idea of making his life a little more boring is starting to sound good to me. He's been bear hunting and fishing with his dad this month, helping to butcher chickens, and this weekend we're heading to fiddle camp in Sask. I suppose we're not making it easy on him but i figure you gotta live....we have to find a better balance though. He starts on Keppra tonight. I had mentioned to the neuro that he had missed his morning pills a couple of times and had had seizures. He said that he doubted that the seizures were from missed pills. I still think they were though as i found yesterday's pill under the edge of the short table cloth last night. We had another blow-up over it and i went over all his mri, eeg, and drug info with him again. he seemed to understand... but we need better compliance from him on this. He's only 9 and i've heard other parents complain that the non-compliance over pills is the worst during the teen years. I hope not. I hope this is as bad as it gets because i don't want to fight over this forever. It's hard to pill-push when i'm not even sure of it being the right thing all the time...
