Hi!I'm Natasha,daughter's name is Arina,she is 11 months. Her diagnosis is Symptomatic Local Epi with Infant Spasms. She was treated by- Convulex,Topomax,Sabril,Keppra,Synacten,Hydrocortisonum,but unfortunately she has spasms now.We think about Ketogenic Diet.

Have a question regarding tonic clonic seizures while sleeping but they only seem to happen once every 2 months.  I have been told that I'm on the tailend of menopause and presently on tegretol.  Is it ok to take extra tegretol for added protection during this time or am I increasing my chances of having a seizure?

I've had seizures my entire life. When I was a child they were some sort of grand mal, but I didn't convulse. I would just zone out and not react to any stimuli and stop breathing. And then be in a sort of coma for three days. But I 'outgrew' these seizures and didn't get seizures again until I was around 16 years old.

My son is 3, will be 4 in July. He has been on a generic Keppra since Feb. 1st. He went to the neuro. yesterday and they increased his dosage due to seizure like activities that have occurred since his last visit. We are also keeping an eye on his OCD behaviors that seemed to start or increase after he started having seizures in Nov. of 2011.

I am a 25 year old wife and mother of a 4 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. I have been having these symptoms for the past week. I've been getting this feeling of extreme excitement, followed by feeling of electric through my gums, then my heart will race, and it feels great, then after it goes away I get very sick to my stomach. I also get very confused and forgettful and start crying afterwards. I know this sounds weird but the feeling I get all day long like I'm about to have another one of these episodes. I found this website and read up on the symptoms and I have almost every one of them.

Trying again to get off of Dilatin after 25 yrs. This time they're trying me on Keppra. To start with I was getting partials, so 1st. neuro tried me on Topamax .. That made me feel unhuman... So he then tried Gabapeten .... That didn't do a thing except make me worst.
So stayed on Dilatin & new Neuro added clobazam ... Worked for just about 3yrs. Then I started blacking out.. Totaled my truck, hit a house. Just thankful nobody was hurt.
