Seizures after a night of drinking

Hey everyone,

This is my first post, I just joined. So about 3 months ago I had a seizure after a night of drinking. The past few weeks before it were pretty stressful, I did 40 hours of training for a volunteer program over 3 weeks. And the night before the last day of training I didn't get a lot of sleep and it was an 8hour day. After training we went out to dinner and I was pretty tired so I had a redbull to stay awake. A couple hours later, I went out drinking with everyone and it was fine. The next day I woke up and was really hungover and felt like something was wrong. I went to get food with my roommate and we brought it back to eat. I blacked out and woke up in the hallway of our house(after I had the seizure). Appearantly it was pretty rough, my body took about a week to get back to normal and my tongue was swollen for about a week too. The eeg and cat scan came back negative so the doctor said it was a one off thing for the most part. Everything was fine, I just tried to take it easy, sleep and not drink like crazy. But I did still go out, and a couple of times I did go pretty hard. And about 2 weeks ago, I had another seizure after a night of drinking, although this was not nearly as bad as the first one, just tongue was swollen. I wasn't really disoriented like the last one, when I woke up I was completely aware of what happened (I was by myself this time too).

I was fine and a week later (only time available) I met with a neurologist, he said just stay off of drinking and don't binge. He also recommended not driving for 3 months. I also had an MRI (haven't heard anything yet) last Friday so I'm just waiting on that.

I'm fine if it comes down to not drinking alcohol anymore, I don't want to do die. The doctor said if I drink in moderation that would be fine, but don't binge and I've just heard from a few people to stop with hard alcohol. I understand I should calm down but its just that I'm not even 21 and I want to be able to enjoy myself and go out with friends. I'm not really used to going to parties or meeting people in social situations without drinking or alcohol ( I can but it goes a bit better at parties) and I don't really know what to do and was looking to see if someone else had a similar situation.

PS. Since the first one I continued to party and go hard when I went to drink. And I drank a lot more since the first one happened, more than what I drank when I had the second one in one night. And both were in the morning, day after drinking
