Can Neurontin be taken with other medicines?: Intermediate

  • Additional information on this drug and how to use it.
  • A starting point for discussion with your doctor.
  • Answers to frequently asked questions.

As a rule, whenever a doctor suggests a new prescription, you should discuss what other medicines and other products you are already taking, in case the new medicine affects one of the other things, or vice versa. Sometimes the doctor may decide to prescribe something else or change the amount prescribed because of these interactions.

These precautions are not a concern with Neurontin. There seem to be no medicines, supplements, herbs, or vitamins that affect Neurontin in the body, nor does Neurontin affect any other medicines or other products.
