Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYMost people who take Keppra have no side effects or mild side effects that go away with no lasting harm. But a few people have serious reactions. Here's a list of symptoms that may be the start of one of these problems.
If you notice any of these symptoms, call your doctor right away:
Keppra is mostly eliminated from the body by the kidney, so tell your doctor if you have a history of kidney problems. If you're older than 65 or 70, you may have age-related reductions in kidney function (even if you're generally healthy). If so, Keppra will stay in your body longer and may cause problems at doses that are usually OK for younger people. Keep your doctor informed about any changes you notice.
