Take control of your epilepsy and seizures. Seizure management has never been easier.
TAKE CONTROL TODAYBrain cells need to work (fire) at a certain rate to function normally. During a seizure, brain cells are forced to work much more rapidly than normal. How Vimpat helps prevent brain cells from working as fast as a seizure requires is still being investigated, but in general Vimpat appears to slow firing of brain cells. This is useful in “cooling down” buildups of electrical discharges in the brain that could lead to seizures.
