November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month!
We are using 2014's National Epilepsy Awareness Month to launch a new year-long education and awareness campaign -- #DareTo.
During this campaign, we are boldly working to break down barriers that are stopping people with epilepsy from reaching their fullest potential -- and we are daring the general public to help us, too.

The Epilepsy Foundation is an unwavering ally in raising awareness, providing support, and funding research to bring new treatments and therapies to market in a timeframe that matters for people with seizures.
People living with epilepsy, their families and their caregivers are served by our network of more than 40 Epilepsy Foundation affiliates around the country. Local Foundation affiliates provide information and referral assistance; maintain individual and family support services; serve as advocates for the rights of those with epilepsy; and offer community-based education to employers, emergency first-responders, school nurses, and other allied health professionals. Find your local Epilepsy Foundation here.
In honor of 2013's National Epilepsy Awareness Month, we presented "Story Days." We asked our affiliate network to share some of the stories of the people they have helped. We then featured these videos on here on epilepsy.com and on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/EpilepsyFoundationOfAmerica.
Re-watch our videos in our "Story Days Archive."
We also invited the epilepsy community to join the campaign by submitting a 30 to 60 second video telling the story of how each person found support through a local Epilepsy Foundation. Check out the library of videos.
Epilepsy is challenging. You can find hope, connection, and support at your local Epilepsy Foundation.
