  • Dr. Nathan Fountain, Chair of the Epilepsy Foundation's Professional Advisory Board, spoke to House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Health on the importance of reintroducing the Improving Regulatory Transparency for New Medical Therapies Act.   • Epilepsy Foundation President and CEO Phil Gattone attended the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia's Use a Helmet, Prevent Epilepsy event at the Lieutenant Governor's office in Richmond, Virginia.  This campaign encourages students to promote the use of helmets to help prevent traumatic brain injuries that can cause epilepsy.
  • The Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware held an advocacy luncheon with State Senators and Representatives to educate them about epilepsy and the priorities that are important to the epilepsy community.  You can see pictures of the event HERE
