Epilepy is not a "one size fits all" problem.  Epilepsy, or recurring seizures, may be more frequent among some groups of people, for reasons we don't fully understand yet. Causes of epilepsy may vary in different parts of the world or among different population groups. Our understanding of epilepsy also affects how people with epilepsy are perceived, accepted and integrated into society.
