Using the Community Calendar
Upon arriving at the Community Calendar, you will notice the calendar in the middle section of the page. The default view of the calendar is by month, but by clicking the tabs across the top you can select a weekly, daily, table, or listing view. Whichever view you select, your initial list of events includes the date, title, and link to view "detail." By clicking on the "detail" link, you can see the full date/time of the event and it's description.

Adding a Calendar Event
Logged in members will see an "Add Event" link in the left hand, blue navigation. To add your own event to the Community Calendar, click this link. You will be taken to a page which includes a form to fill out. The basic, required information elements are the date range, event title, and a brief description. If your event takes place over a single day, simply enter the same date for both the "start date" and "end date." When you have completed the form, click the orange "Submit" button to save your event to the calendar. That's it!

Group Calendars
If you are a member of an Epilepsy.com Group, you may have noticed that individual groups also have event calendars. These calendars operate in the same way as the Community Calendar, but only members of that particular group can add the events. Members adding group events will see a checkbox option to include the event on the Community Calendar - if this box is checked, the event will be published to both the group's calendar as well as the Community Calendar.
