About Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin
The Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin strives to improve the lives of people with epilepsy in 46 counties. Throughout the Heart of Wisconsin, people with epilepsy and their families can find supportive care that brings them information on healthy living, available medical treatments, and successfully communicating with medical care providers. With the supportive care program individuals can get one-one counseling; students can learn how to adjust to school; and families receive tips and advices about safety in the home. The public health education programs presented to law enforcement, EMTs, school staff, and employers inform them on how to recognize, react, and respond to seizures to ensure safety for people with epilepsy.
And as always, the Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin will continue to advocate for people with epilepsy in their homes, at work, and at school. By bringing them news on public policy issues and increasing community awareness, the Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin works to ensure that people with epilepsy are able to participate in all life experiences.
