Art becomes society's education to overcome the
biases and misunderstanding of this condition.
Although epilepsy has been called the hidden disability,
the hidden abilities are spoken loudly through their art.
On Saturday, October 6th, ETP celebrates the opening of "Hidden truths, the mind unraveled" -- honoring artists with epilepsy. The show will begin at 7 o'clock in the evening at the Susan Nelson Gallery in Newport Beach. You'll enjoy irresistible appetizers provided by Primal Alchemy in addition to delicious Thompkin Cellars wines and signature cocktails -- all to support the acceleration of new therapies for those living with epilepsy and seizures.
But most of all, like us we think you'll be inspired by the works of art created by some of our favorite artists living with epilepsy. In addition to these creative works, several pieces by Nancy Mladenoff, whose work can be found throughout southern California, Susan Nelson our host at the Susan Nelson Gallery, and Dr. Julie Thompson-Dobkin, our event chair will be on view.
Please join us for the first annual Epilepsy Therapy Project Orange County, California event. This incredible evening celebrates the works of many talented artists with epilepsy together with ETP's progress in accelerating new therapies. This very important evening will not be complete without you. Progress happens only thanks to your support.
Your contribution will help fund ETP translational research, by funding clinical research associate's monthly salary, maintaining diagnostic research equipment, and maintaining ETP's online pipeline of new therapies.
Tickets are available now! General admission is $75/person and VIP tickets are $150/person. 100% of the ticket cost is tax deductible and 100% of all sales go directly to benefit ETP and the artists premiering at the event.
You may also reserve your ticket today by emailing Heidi@epilepsytherapyproject.org or calling Heidi Meireles of our ETP staff at (714) 987-9975.
We look forward to seeing you on October 6!
