Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors

Vocational rehabilitation counselors can help people with epilepsy obtain skills needed for employment by:

  • Assessing people's knowledge, skills, and interests
  • Recommending feasible employment areas
  • Teaching people how to accommodate and overcome aspects of their disability, improve work habits, train for specific job functions, develop more effective interviewing skills, and seek and obtain employment
  • Running specialized training programs
