VNS

After 6 years and 5 different meds in 3 or 4 different series I am looking at VNS.  But how much does it cost an insursed person, in illinois with Blue cross blue shield?  About how much?  Or will insure even pay?  Is disability easy or hard to get with seizure disorder?  I was working but a few partial seizures has the boss rethinking my employment.  I'm middle class with my good job but not working would make me poor.

I live in Ohio and my VNS cost me around $1500 on UHC. I applied for SSDI in 1/09 and was not denied and have been getting checks now for a few months. I have had seizures now for 32 years and worked until this past January and on several meds over the years.

good luck,  Scott

PS.........The surgery was around $48,000.
