I have seizures in my sleep and I bite my tongue severly. I've awakened with blood all over me, and can't eat or even talk much without pain for days. I'm ready to try just about anything and I'm starting with a mouthpiece. Sure there's a choking hazard, but I really don't care anymore. I'm a professional flute and saxophone player, and when I've bitten my tongue badly I can't play for several days.

 If the mouthpiece doesn't work, I'm considering havng my teeth pulled.

Has anyone had a T-C Seizure and NOT bit their tongue? I think I had one 6 weeks ago...but no one was here to see...was unconscious for 30 minutes...at least that's how much time I lost.

I don't know what the heck happened. Just woke up on the floor not knowing what happened, where I was, in a pile of drool; confused...then figured - oh - i must've had a seizure and took myself to bed. my body felt like jello and my head was killing me. the muscles didn't start hurting til much later.

i also. But it's not about the pain of the tougue. but parents will be scared that when i bite my tougue i will be dead. in the school days, teachers are also very afraid of this.
